Driving a QHD monitor from a HD source. - zippy
I'm thinking of buying a couple of QHD (2560 x 1440 @ 75hz) monitors to plug my work laptop and personal laptop in to. Both laptops output at 1920 x 1080 @ 60hz.

Will this work and will there be any issues, like mid-shapes fonts or blurring or would it be better sticking to 1920 x 1080 monitors?

Thinking of this deal: www.hotukdeals.com/share-deal/4197378

Thanks

Thats its Max resolution, Its likely the monitor will default to the highest resolution of your lap top*, therefore negating any advantage of the highest res. Unless you are gaming, or watching hi res video, there is little advantage and its frankly a waste of effort..

*it may upscale, but again for work related stuff, why would you.
