Firefox (linux) started on ad page - Focusless

Got a bit of a shock yesterday on my linux laptop when Firefox started up on an advert page. It didn't look 'dodgy'. I checked the FF home page setting, and that hadn't changed. It hasn't happened before, and it didn't happen today. Anybody else seen that recently?

Same thing happened to me, although I think it might have been Thursday or Friday.

I shut the browser and it displayed the usual home page when I reopened it.

No odd behaviour since.

I use Firefox on a laptop running Vista Home Premium.
