Extension Lead For PC with Slave Sockets - Robbie34
I wonder if any one can help. Many years ago I bought an extension lead for my PC that had a number of slave sockets. This allowed numerous other mains powered items such as printer, monitor etc to be switched off when my PC is turned off.
Some of these slave sockets don't work - no power to them - so printer has to be switched off separately.
I need to buy a new one of these but can't remember what it's called. No info on the unit except power surge and some sockets marked as slaves.
Does anyone know where I can get one of these and what they are called? I have searched Amazon for surge leads but can't find one.

Thanks.

The Energenie gets a thumbs down from posters as it makes a horrible buzzing noise. The one on ebay doesn't have enough outlets.

There is a Masterplug that fits the bill but is no longer available on Amazon.

Any reason why you can't plug a multi-way into one of the available slaves?

Ask the owners where to buy it...
