One for you whizz kids please.
Can you recommend a safe way to convert a Word doc to a pdf please. I'm running Word 10

Not sure if you can save as PDF in Word 2010, I know you can in Word 13 and 16. Check that PDF is in the "File Type" when saving?
Or install Foxit Reader and you can right click any Office file and convert to PDF.
Foxit is pretty good, you can aslo measure, draw lines and annotate in its free product.

If your version of Word won't let you do it direct, then install CutePDF writer, which acts just like a printer, but prints it to PDF instead - you can then do PDFs from any software. Alternatively there will no doubt be online converters where you can upload the Word doc and it will send you a PDF back.

Cracked it thank you. In the doc go to file (Save and send). Then under File types press create PDF/XPS documents in the left pane then again in the right pane then press publish. Job done. Thank you.
