I've had one of these for about a year and use it frequently. However, just recently it has become very jerky when scrolling; not all of the time, but enough to be a bit of a pain.
Is there any simple way of rectifying this, or should I ditch it and buy another?
Suggestions in words of one syllable, SVP.

With android tablets, the updates over a period of time start to overwhelm the capabilities of the device.
I'd knock it back to factory state, and then update only those apps you use a lot.

Try clearing the web cache in each of the apps used regularly.

Try this,... [It should not delete any of your data from the tablet. But presumably everything is downloadable anyway]
Power the tablet off .
When it is off, hold the volume down and power button at the same time.
When the boot screen appears, release the buttons. A menu will appear which is probably not familiar to you.
Use the volume button to move the cursor up/down onto "Format Cache"
Then press the power button to select "Format Cache"
When it finishes formatting, reboot it and see if it is better. [it is only formatting the cache, not the whole tablet].
If this doesn't work, then Zero's step is the next one.

Thanks, all.

No "Format Cache" option available. Nearest to that is "Wipe Cache Partician". Is that worth a punt, please?
