Keyboard help - Bobby

Trying to set up daughters laptop.
Selected UK keyboard settings and the @symbol is above the â€˜ symbol but when I press this button neither of these symbols are appearing.
Have systematically went through the whole keyboard using shift alt ctrl on each button and canâ€™t find it anywhere!

Any help?

You should just need to hold down Shift and then the key for the ampersand ( @ ).

Does the key without pressing shift produce the correct character or is it really a case of faulty key.

When the @ symbol is not on that key it is often then found on the '2' key with shift. That's where a Mac would have it. I think that's the American layout.

Found it guys.

Although keyboard setting was UK it was UK with Sweden when I actually scrolled down in the settings.

All sorted now!
