Got one on Prime Day for £50 for the Mrs.
Got to say, it is well worth it.
It is reasonably fast and the battery has lasted 3 evenings internet browsing.
Makes Apple and Samsung products seem decidedly over priced!
A nice touch is that it is all set up when it arrives to use your Amazon account (as in Hello Mrs Zippy, welcome to Amazon" etc.
I guess the bar code on the pack is matched to the account at shipping and when it is connected to the WWW it downloads the correct details?

I bought an Echo Dot on Prime day, have taken it out of the box though it looks more flexible than the Echo.
