 Hotmail/firefox issues - sooty123
Everytime just after logging in to my hotmail account, firefox crashes. I get my email page up then Firefox just crashes. It doesn't do it on any other site. Anyone any ideas? Thanks.

You are not alone! - My firefox has been suffering spasmodic random crashes for the last fortnight also, I've not updated yet either! - started doing it just after the last but one win 10 update, might be co-incidence so I'll update it later!

To be pedantic (and because one major update is usually followed quite quickly by another), the latest Firefox version is 50.0.1..:-)

But I use Waterfox, the 64bit version......

Just downloaded Waterfox (I have tried it before)
Why is it, I wonder, that when I try to log into this site from said browser, it shows that I'm logged in as a guest (even though I've logged in as Dog) and when I attempt to reply to a post, it comes up with :

Your message cannot be posted as the following fields are required or are incorrect:

Your alias cannot be located from file.

Never had any problems logging into this or any other site with Waterfox...

Perhaps Refreshing the profile(s) might help? See:

support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Set up your Hotmail account in Windows Live mail support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/18614 then yoos don't have to sign in every morgen.

If you google "hotmail crashes firefox" you'll find it's an occasional issue and suggested solutions are given.
