I have been trying to run both Mint & Ubuntu from a live CD on my laptop, only to find that neither include a native driver for the Broadcom 802.11n wireless adaptor fitted. Hence no wireless available.
Should I bother hooking up a LAN cable, just for a live CD trial?

This only goes to prove that Submariners are on the way up. Builders here haven't got a clue about the topic.
