I have received 2 e-mails, in the last week, seemingly coming from a D-i-L & someone I know but have not spoken to for many years. The emails are rubbish/gobbledy gook, poor English etc etc and come from seemingly Brazil (if you hover over the sender name it shows a source .br at the end of the sender name).
Somehow or other somebody must have a copy of my e-mail contacts.
I have scanned with AVG, Malwarebytes & Microsoft AND THEY COME BACK CLEAN!!
No virus found.
I do not store any account numbers / passwords etc for banks. CC etc etc so that should be safe on that front
Any ideas of how to get to the bottom of the matter?

You have no virus or trojan. Yes someone has gotten hold of the address book, but it may not be yours. Someone has been using hotmail , and its been compromised and the address book has been snaffled and spammed.
Its no real problem apart from the spam emails (some of which will also try and snaffle the hotmail address book)
you could aways wait for Windows 10 SP1....;)
