 Car4play - Redirect to a phishing website - Victorbox
This website seems today to be automatically redirecting me on certain pages to a website that Google Chrome says is a potential phishing website. Just thought I'd flag it up.

Same here without blocking ads. Which I don't do on here because the ads pay something at least to Khoo Systems.

It was doing it last night too.

URL starts: lemode-mgz.com as one example. There's a few.

Thanks for the info.

Funny enough in the past I would have said it was because our ad server had been hacked. However, we now serve ads directly from Google. So if there is a rogue ad it will be one that got past google's vetting process.

Let us know when there is a fix. It doesn't appear to be a particular ad.

I prefer to use Safari on the Mac but without blocking ads.

I can't get it to redirect on mine (Safari on Mac). Although remember Google servers ads based on what one has been browsing on other sites that use its ad server. It is highly likely I am not seeing the same ads including the one causing the redirection.
As I say, the ads now come direct from Google, so short of turning them off completely, changing settings for market type within Google, etc. I have no control over them.

I have not had any redirects either, Safari on mac or Chrome on Android. Neither has any adblocking in place.

I had the redirects and also use Safari on a Mac without an ad blocker.

The odd thing is the ads at the top, bottom and right of the site looked okay. Some influenced by cookies on my machine no doubt (like washing machines)

FWIW I had this problem on my windows phone. I switched to Chrome on the iPhone and had problems with this site causing it to hang.

Both are fine now.

Picked up a virus PSW.agent..............

AVG picked it up and removed it

I see that actually this is quite a common problem.

Try Googling "google adsense malware"

This post was quite helpful:

I have adjusted our adsense settings to remove 3rd party ads.

Hopefully this fixes things
