 Problem selecting external drive for a Back-up - wokingham
Good Afternoon. I have an external Toshiba 2 terabyte external drive; when I go to "My Computer" its is recognised as "F" and I can inspect the contents etc. However, when I attempt a back up, either with Windows or Roxio back up, I am only given the option of backing up to "E" which is my built in DVD drive and not what I want to use. Any thoughts please? Thank you

Some products show you truly local drives only, even if you have mapped a network drive as local.

No way round it that I know of.

But download the free and wonderful Allwaysync, it's better than backup programs as it only copies changed files therefore much quicker.
