A moan basically. Laptop has been fine for ages until yesterday when it sneakily downloaded over 100M of Vaio Care and broke the adjustment of screen brightness whether by the control panel or by the function keys.
Tried the internets suggested things and no go. Uninstalled Vaio Care, did a restart and all is now working fine. Just been on the Sony website, and it says there are 112 updates that apply to the laptop, four being drivers and the rest software updates. Sur votre bicyclette monsieur je pense!
