My 20 month old grandson has just been banging on my computer keyboard, the computer was on but not online, the end result is the screen has rotated 90 degrees clockwise, not only that the mouse operations has all been reversed, i can't tell you how long it's took me just to write this plea for help.

try.......
Go to the desktop.
Right click on it.
Select "Screen Resolution"
Look at the "orientation" option, which will probably be "Portrait (Flipped)" from your symptoms
If so select "Landscape" instead.
Click OK.
Screen should re-orient, and you should click the option to retain this orientation, or it will revert.
(A bit of a faff doing this when the mouse is reversed as well ;-) )
Your Grandson has probably hit a "shortcut" somewhere.
