Herself complained that her computer wouldn't do anything. I rudely said it always worked for me. She got miffed and said I was being rude.
Later I went up there, restarted her device which, I noticed, was even filthier than mine, looked a little way into its innards and pressed a few reset buttons and things. At one point it said 'Only do this if your computer is absolutely whassernamed'. Looked like a good idea, so I did it.
Not hey presto exactly, because it's still very slow. But it works.
God I'm brilliant, heh heh, cough, choke... must get some nipper to get it working properly when she's not looking....

Anyone who has computer problems should post me their laptop enclosing a signed blank cheque, or better still an irreversible letter of credit with the amount left blank.
