I'm sat here using my (works) laptop (XP, ie8, outlook 2007) when suddenly I get a reminder for a meeting starting there and then.
I know I did not create the appointment, but a quick check of my outbox shows a message regarding it has been sent to a webmail address I use and another address I have - has anybody any idea what it is I have got and how to get rid of it.
Googling 'spurious appointments' and emails has not brought up anything obvious.
Laptop sits behind home or work laptop, and has the latest version of ESET Nod32 for protection

if it helps, the wording of the emails is almost identical to the wording in this article, tho' I can be certain neither I or anybody else has been playing with VB automation of Outlook on my laptop
