Can anyone recommend any "free" software that I can use to monitor traffic to our club website?
The things I would like to check are:
how many people are actually visiting the site per day.
which are the most common browsers they are using.
which are the most commonly visited pages on the site and which are the least.
average time each user spends on the site.
I've been trying out the "Cloud-based" Monitor Us, but that is far too techy for me!
Any suggestions welcome! - Thanks Folks!

Any chance your website is hosted by someone who provides that sort of information as part of the service?

Do you get 'cpanel' as part of your hosting? The site I write and maintain for the local scout group does and it offers all sorts of things.
Usual format is putting www.my_web_site.co.uk/cpanel (or whatever your website is...) in the browser address bar and you then get prompted for the user name and password. Some folk even use it to upload pages, but I find it clumsy at that and FTP pages and files.

I haven't checked out all its features, but have a look at gostats.com/
Friend of mine only used it for visitor stats, but looking at the demo page ( monster.gostats.com/summary.xml?id=3558 ) it'll do a whole lot more besides.
