Rattle, or anyone else who has a clue,

What is the best remote access software to allow me to access my Father's PC?

In this case, "best" means whatever needs my Father to do the least.

Remote Support question - Crankcase

Teamviewer. We use that a lot. Launch on his PC, he tells you the pretty numbers that come up, you take over. Done.

Remote Support question - smokie

Yep, another vote for Teamviewer. Brilliant, was able o manage stuiff using my android quite easily from Africa recently.

I also use an Android app called PC Monitor to stop and start my machines remotely - needs a bit of set up on network card, which needs to be able support Wake On Lan - but saves me leaving machines which I may need to access turned on all the time if I am away.
