 "My Documents" order - Ambo
I have about 50 items under My Documents, including folders and individual documents, such as letter headings. They were in alphabetical order but have somehow re-ordered themselves randomly. There seems no command I can use to get them back into alphabetical order. Can anyone suggest what to do please?

depends to a degree on what flavour of Windows, but if you right click your mouse in the 'white space' around your now jumbled documents then you should see an option 'sort by' , hover the mouse pointer over this and one of the options that appears should be 'name' or 'file name'

OS would be useful.
As Focusless has mentioned top right there is an "Arranged by:" option under Win7 which appears to default to "Folder". Change this to "Name".

Am I missing something? Just click on the title bar of the column you want it sorted by. Maybe "Name"?

That orders by file type under Win7, you get the folders then the files...
Only way to get full alphabetical order by "Arrange by:" but then it opens all the folders, listing all the files.
