entirely depends on where the PDF is hosted. Where can it be found?

Not sure exactly what you want to do, but I previously hosted a pdf document on the following site when I recieved one about the bridgestone tyre pressure gauge (or rather lack of it)

I'd have thought it has nothing to do with where it is hosted. It's a hyperlink in the PDF. What are you using to create the PDF?

Or are you trying to put a link here to a PDF hosted elsewhere?

Which its why its something to do with where its hosted.
