My Galaxy Tab keeps throwig out the note:
"Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.apps has stopped"
This stops internet access until I cancel it.
It's not a major problem, but it's very irritating.
Any ideas?

Do you if you have any third party apps running in the background? Still not got into Android development yet (but am soon) so I am not that families with the internals but it must be a process that belongs to app running in the background that is causing it.

Only that if you search that error message it says that it may be related to the Download Manager being disabled.
