What ISP are you using? I am suspecting one with a parent company overseas and there's some mix up in the IP addresses that the BBC think are outside of the UK. Perhaps the IP address range used to be used outside the UK and now they are using it here. Using a T-Mobile hotspot on a Virgin train used to (and maybe still does) give you this issue, and you are probably getting adverts on the BBC Website. What happens if you visit a site like this: showip.net Reply to this message | Report message
