Is there any way to specify my own location during installation of Chrome?
By default, it goes buried inside Document & Settings or Users folder depending on which version of Windows you use and it does not give any option to specify a folder path during installation.
I understand that Google did it in this way because it wanted to bypass User Access Control by not installing under Program Files.
Still I find it odd.
I searched on web about solution but they involve tweaking registry before and after install. I am just looking for a simple clean solution where it will ask for path during installation.
