cant find it on site
maybe a local offer?

Can't get the link to go to the slide scanner - however recommended on HJ was a Veho scanner cost around 70 quid - works as it says it does.
|
Most of the (comparatively few) slide scanners of this type aren't much use.
You can buy Canon and Epson flat bed scanners which will also scan slides - still providing valuable use long after you have scanned any slides.

I have a flat bed scanner - part of the canon mp150.
|
That's an all-in-one. I'm referring to flat bed scanners, such as the Epson Perfection V350 or Canon CanoScan LiDE 700F.
|
and why would I buy another flat bed scanner when I already have one?
|
They're expensive as well them adaptors - Try a Veho you won't be disappointed.

Yeah ~I'll get one of those if my 10 year old Acer Scanwit breaks.

You only mentioned it earlier..:-)
In any case a dedicated product is usually far more effective rather than a device that attempts being a jack of all trades.
My Epson R300 cost me at least twice what I could have acquired an all-in-one for at the time, but does its main role of a photo printer superbly whilst producing better than average quality text when required.
