Followed for 17 miles.Strange case.Would it not have been easier to overtake her car and forced her to stop.? Yankee style.
She problaby would have claimed for whiplash.Oh well.

Good news for Kenari owners then :-p
Actually, despite sitting on or near the speed limit, suddenly people are racing to overtake, much in the same way they did with the Charade.
A woman in a Picasso nigh on had a head on with a car which pulled out of side road as she decided to overtake me ( doing 60 on an NSL road ) at just the same time as the lady in a Clio wnet to pull out of the side road - luckily Clio driver spotted the Picasso before things got drastic, but there was but a foot in it.
And yes, I did lift off when she did her Dan Dare move, lifes too short.

You sure? Could have been a sparrow farting causing a perodua stopping headwind?

Anythings possible. It rocked when a mobility scooter went past on the pavement.

Keep it up Stu, but don't damage your teeth by gritting them.
Kia Pride owner!

Its Ok for you to speak BT, a pride at least looks something like a car.
|
Coming from someone with a Japanese car, from Japan, home of the Kei car and therefore the natural home of the Kenari, which is based on... a Kei car.
Here's what your esteemed brand offers... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Town_Box
Makes mine look aerodynamic.

Tenuous, very very tenuous.
Poor effort.

Im not in the least bit fazed, Im enjoying my new car and I can laugh at myself if needs be ( seems I need to atm ).
I find it far more tragic that someone wont buy a car on account of what other people think.

Well you cant aim that accusation at me now can you.

Nope, you paid good money for a car that was a decade out of date when it was new - nobody does that to impress anyone.
|
If thats the same as "paid a stupidly low amount of money for an almost brand new large family estate car with a track record of reliability and proven simple mechanicals" then I agree with you.
|
I was just going to say that at least the Lancer Estate has a €uro NCAP rating,
But it hasn't :(
|
You two, tee hee.
Proven mechanicals - or old fashioned as its otherwise known. Im a convert to that thinking, id buy a Lancer myself, only its becoming a bit common, anybody buys one these days.

Today I bought a combined clock/outside thermometer, since it doesnt have a clock - height of technology tis me caged bird.

The lancer came with a digital clock. I seem to recall the exact same part in a 1985 Datsun.
