How about one of these for when we eventually get some snow?

Proper winter tyres :)

I think the wheels are too small - I just can't see her making any sort of progress over the sort of surfaces I thought you got in Antartica. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

I value my pinkies too much for a bike ride like that thanks, but I spose the bike would come in handy when we go on our hols to Mars one day.

Probably only when you've got tarmac somewhere underneath :)

And when you've got four of them. Problem with a push bike in snow is keeping sunny side up, particularly when braking.

although 'only' 103 of the 500 miles by bike. Doesn't say how many red lights she went through :)
