They do say you should never let a neighbour borrow your lawnmower. It never comes back on time or in a satisfactory condition.


Ironically enough, I was actually thinking of mowing my lawns today. The mild weather has caused them to keep growing this year. I was considering finding out if the garden centre could sell me some winter tyres for it though just to be on the safe side...wouldn't want to get into an uncontrollable skid round the chicane created behind the new shed.

I can comfortably say that at no time over the Christmas break have I been thinking about mowing....

Mrs. D'About must have some very untempting alternative lined up for you to day, Humph, for you to be planning the coup de grace. :)
