4KW just installed today - yay!

On this rather mild November day currently doing 400W. It will be interesting to see what they achieve over the next few months.

Had 2.7Kw installed a week and a half ago. So far only 37 units (whatever they are) generated. Should be better when the sun is stronger...

Last night I teased someone : "lets see how much electricity we are currently generating..."

They did fall for it for a few moments.

Today they are doing a bit better - around 500W when overcast and peaking at 750W when the sun is out. That's just over half of our requirements which isn't bad for winter.

Meanwhile our solar hot water installation isn't able to get hot enough to do anything. 

So overall it's quite impressive to get anything at this time of year.

I told my lot that we had to rethink the way we live - do anything requiring electricity usage during the day (watching TV, having the lights on...). They weren't stupid enough to fall for it though.
