Like a lot of their songs really, even if I missed them by a couple of years. I think it is because you can sing along to much of it.

I am out, but as a tribute to this thread I shall play Mersey Paradise (Stone Roses) and The Killing Moon (Echo and the Buneymen)

Funnily enough I am not going there tonight. Going to an indie night, so lots of scouse stuff but they won't be any Beatles playing.
I love the Klinks, The Beach Boys and Simon and Garfunkel but never got into the Beatles, maybe it is too pop?
I have a mate who lives in Salford, he is obsessed with the Beatles, he used to work in Liverpool and he supports Liverpool United, despite being from Salford.
I do recognise the Beatles talent etc, so never got why I could never get into them.

Watching "Nowhere Boy" tonight - that's my contribution.

Yeah, I like the Kinks as well :)

I thought it an ironic choice for the darker evenings :-)

>>>Simon and Garfunkel
I got the album pack recently.
A great buy and some real classics. Especially like Wednesday Morning 3AM and Hazy Shade of Winter.
For the Beatles, Eleanor Rigby and Paperback writer are some of my favorites.
Perhaps I have a thing for sad songs?

This is from one of my favorite Beatle albums, but I only really turned on and tuned into it in recent times ~
