On a beautiful summer's day, two American tourists were driving through Wales .

At Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyllllantysiliogogoch they stopped for lunch, and one of the tourists asked the waitress,
“Before we order, I wonder if you could settle an argument for us. Can you pronounce where we are, very, very, very slowly?”

The girl leaned over and said................“Burrrr Gurrrrr King."

There is no Burger King in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyllllantysiliogogoch :p However there is a great big tower some git at the tourist office suggested I climb. A truly terrifying experience but wonderful views.

If you're worthless or have good life insurance it may well be worth a climb

Been up it - but might go back. You can abseil down it if you ask nicely. I know there's no BK in Llanfair but it was a sort of humorous licence.

I got the joke, I was just being a pendant :) In one of them moods.

I just hated the rickety stairs which seemed to be attached with expanding foam. But then I am no good with heights anyway.

I've got some photos I took up there the last time I was up - many years ago - quality camera job - a Lumo 35mm compact. Much revered wet film camera with a damned good lens - must dig it out....
