DIY Double Glazing Sealant - Ambo
My double glazing has developed tiny leaks around the frames. Can anyone suggest a DIY sealant that they have used with success? I don't want to have to pay for new seals.

Do you mean between the glass and the frame, the opening and fixed part of the frame or the frame and the wall?

What's your frame, wood, aluminium or plastic?

(That should be DIY.) The leaks are between the glass and the plastic frames.

My white plastic UPVC windows aren't designed to seal completely between the glass and the frame. They've got drain holes in the frame.

I've just read the info from that site and it's a bit confusing, maybe,
what you want for your particular job is a low modulus silicon sealant.

Mine are the same as the Tom in the bath. Water can seep into the corners where the rubbers join. It might be worth checking the drain holes and making sure nothing is in residence in them.

I have a shower cubicle which has the same setup, the eight framed glass panels all have drain holes in the underside of their frames which drain any seepage into the shower tray.
