Thoughts please!
About 5years ago I painted the exterior of the Hovel, the cement renderings around the doors and windows inc sills and steps, soffits, guttering and gate, with Dulux "Weathershield" Exterior undercoat/gloss.
Tis now starting to look a bit tired, and needs redoing, and was quite shocked at the price this paint now is!! - however i`ve found some Sandtex exterior Acrylic on Ebay, at a snap-uppable price!
Although this paint doesn`t state masonry, (the Dulux didnt either!) do you think it would do the job??
Ta, me.

Own Brand @ B&Q/Hiomebase is equally as good as Dulux and about 1/2price - especially on Pensioner Wednesday or Homebase weekend deals.

Not really. Only buy paint from a proper decorator's merchant. B&Q sell it cheap because it's made with more water in it.

I use Sandtex exterior masonry paint on masonry. It lasts about 10 years before going really grubby...

When it comes to buying paint, you get exactly what you pay for. Cheap emulsion, in particular, is a complete waste of time and money.

Agree with Sandtex, it kept my rendered and chipped walls good for years on t'old house.
