Tin of Irish Stew Tin of new potatoes Small tin of peas Place all ingredients into a small saucepan and heat up on a Camping Gaz stove in the centre of the cab. Must be eaten out of the saucepan with a spoon. Dessert: Tin of Ambrosia Rice Pudding. I've eaten that banquet in some of the most desirable layby's in this country:) But what made it special was because I was alone! Just thought of another one: The car4play Guide to Shoes written by Humph and corroborated by WdeB. I was going to call it the car4play guide to Cobblers but I have someone else in mind for that one. Firs tip on my chapter on girls "When a good looking but plastic girl goes up to you in a club, and ask who you are with, don't say "my mates were too tired to come out, and I have to go past here to get home and as I know the DJ I always come here" it doesn't go down well!. I have had so much success with girls I could write a massive chapter on it, I mean once upon time I even had a girlfriend. Of course I am being highly sarcastic here, but I do believe a guide to girls from an anoraks (or geek as I am known) point of view good be a massive seller in Essex. Camion stew sounds right up my street, Pat! My parents, when we went camping, many years ago, used to make something similar with a tin of cooked mince and a tin of chopped tomatoes. We called it, gulp, "train smash" Trouble is SWMBO would recoil in horror if I tried your cordon bleu recipe, especially as we are going on a diet when we return to the UK from our German trip. Going back 40 years, my speciality was beef curry ... 1 pound of mince, a tin of bachelors mixed vegetables, bung in some curry powder and serve with white rice, There would often be a sprinkling of ceiling emulsion on top owing to the fact that we had no kitchen back then (no bathroom either!) and the cooker was stuck in a little low alcove in the lounge with the kitchen sink in another alcove next to it, over the years the steam from the cooking had nuked the emulsion.
