Why do we have to ask for money regarding cancer research.

The advertisement says keeping families together.Shouldn't the governement cover the cost out of taxpayers money for research?

I am a bit of a loss with this advertisement.

Cancer research is a charity, and charities rely on public donations to carry out work which cannot be publicly funded.

Anyone who has survived cancer will know that wouldn't have happened without research.
Where it should be funded from is another matter but those who fall in the above catergory will always be happy to fund it.

I have no problem paying to familys who need help due to cancer and I wil fully support this.

But research should come from government funding in my opinon.Cancer can effect us all.
