 Colonial Frolics - Runfer D'Hills
I was planning to make a business phone call to someone in New York tomorrow but then it has just occured to me that they'll be shut won't they? 4th of July and so on.

Now I know they eat turkeys at "Thanksgiving" ( whatever that's all about ) but what do they do on the 4th of July? Drink tea perhaps ?

Must find out.

Fireworks, rockets red glare and all that.

Reminds me....I was in Boston on July 4 2008 - we did an early dash, TomTom struggled to find a way out due to road closures and the such-like. All businesses were working ! We ended up joining in in a very pleasant evening's entertainment on the beach in Salem. A certain amount of beer from a micr-brewery in the town was consumed....F18 flypast was the highlight.

4th July is certainly a USA day off so there will be some eating and drinking. Turkey goes down in November I think for their equivalent of our Harvest Festival

Not unless they've had loads of rain.

Contacts in Los Alamos had to leave their homes last week and the labs were closed last Thursday.

Most southern states have banned fireworks. They'll just be getting P'd around the BBQ on the fourth.
