Can't say I did. Flared trousers, naff dialogue and improbable situations abounded (just as they did in real life I sometimes think).
Peter Falk was very good though and Columbo several cuts above the average. Humane and left-of-centre philosophically, like Raymond Chandler, not like Mickey Spillane...

Oh No! I don't watch much TV, but I've got the complete set of Columbo.
I loved the way that you knew all along who the villain was - the interesting question was "How is Columbo going to suss it out".

I saw the first episode in which Columbo/Falk was more like Brando in On the Waterfront.
Interesting how he developed the character.
The series benefited from a genuinely classy actor in Falk, and also a stream of top-class actors playing the villains.
