Yup! It's a taper roller bearing. The first time I checked the rear brakes I ruined the bearing, over-tightening it, trying to get it off. I'd only previously seen a LH thread on the LH side of vehicles. Reply to this message | Report message

Back in the 80's, I used to tune the cars belonging to the security staff at london weekend telly and they would get me and the missus tickets to see various shows there, We used to enjoy Chas and Dave, Russ Abbot, Peters and Lee, Jim Davidson, Clapton, Huniford etc. What really opened my eyes though, was how sooooo many alcoholics could carry out a days work!
