I read in the Telegraph obituary that he went to the bad after finding out his wife had an affair with Cliff Richard.

Don't forget in the very early 60s Cliff was "the UK elvis" he's moved on a little since then.
In 2008 Jet hadn't been part of the Shadows for nearly 50 years bit of a story out of nothing suggesting he should have been on the 50 year anniversary things
