You could try a combination of duck tape and strong cord as a temporary repair... Hopefully I'll be going to Staples tomorrow (I've been saying that for the last 3 months) to pick up a chair, which I think was priced at £149.99 last time I visited. ...buy it from Staples after giving it a good test drive... Staples usually have a good few made up to try, but not always in stock. Brother was a bit disappointed after spending a little while making a selection, only to be told there were none in stock. Last time I visited Staples, they had a boxed chair next to the made-up one, so at least you knew there was one available to buy. Reply to this message | Report message

Tie-wraps....the answer to all those niggly little problemos, mon chien. I fink mine was from Argos..SW bought it as a Chrimbo prezzie 3/4 yrs ago. She won't have paid a lot 'cos it was for me and she's a lickpenny. It's tilt facility has stopped working....but then so has mine. JUst zoom it Pat..mines edge to edge...just shy of 24". Mr d, it's laminate mate, I use Pledge soapy cleaner, but the missus uses Dettol 'multi action' floor wipes (cos its easier!) Don't 4get it's flash photog, the walls are 'finished' in a gentle shade of Crown morning hue, but you'd never know it. ...what type of polish do you use to get that "gloss" finish?... We had stone floors at the farm and used a liquid cleaner/polish called Dual. It gave a shiny, but not slippery, finish. Nothing's come up from a quick Google, but it came in a squeezy bottle, similar to washing up liquid. Reply to this message | Report message
