Not exactly groundbreaking news that Iran are arming the Taliban.

Under international law, if you are at war with somebody, what is the situation with another country arming the people you are fighting, while hostilities are ongoing?

Are they a legitimate target?

Forget them arming the IRA, what about them blowing up Pan Am Flight 103?

It's amazing that, post 9/11, Gadaffi wasn't very near the top of the US hit list.

I know that he paid the families off ($10 million each)...I wonder if Bin Laden could do the same if he managed to scrape together $30 billion (3,000 x $10 million each).

I'm surprised the Iranians are arming the Taliban - the Iranians are Shia Muslims, the Taliban are Sunni.

There's virtually a civil war between the two in Iraq and other parts of the
Islamic world.

A think the report uses Taliban as a general word for insurgents. It covers a pretty broad church.
