Help you knowledgeable things. What is 'linking to a google account' about when trying to access my you tube and if I do what does that mean. I do NOT want any services of whatever nature.........EVER. Always suspicious.................Martin.

Google own YouTube - no doubt if you have a Google account (GMail etc..) it means you can use the same user name and password on YT if you want to access the services on that site.

Yea i thought it was a bit pointless, however it wouldnt let me access youtube if i didnt link my gmail account with it (IIRC)

I have a Flickr account and they have done the same thing there. Link my Flickr account with a few photos on it to my Google account which I use for paying for things? errr, no thank you. Enforce it and I'll use Photobox instead.
