 A busy day - Iffy
I see there has been 600 posts on Car4play today.

A healthy number, but is it a record?

600 is a very very high number. The only problem is it is probably all done by the same old 20 or so regulars.

This site is like a real ale house. Finds it hard to find new customers but has a very loyal croud who are in supping the same old ale every night. That is not a bad thing as it is much cheaper to keep old customers than it is find new ones - as the saying goes.

Perhaps we could recruit Fred Elliot and get even more, I say, even more...

23 August was busier stats wise - which is a but odd.

I've noticed post numbers on any given day can be pushed up markedly by a couple of threads that happen to take off.

Yesterday there was gb's anti-virus problem in computing, tyro's crash and Pat's bird feeding thread.

These accounted for 170-odd posts.

All very odd - thinking about this up until a month or so ago we were getting upwards of 220 posts on a not bad day, all of a sudden its ballooned and been a lot busier...as iffy pointed out yesterday was a busy one...

Bad weather curtailing travel may have given some people more time in front of the computer.

Presumably, forums in general tend to busier when it's cold and dark outside.
