Come on, ON, what new mother hasn't said that?
Regarding the contraception issue, though, the old saying about leading horses to water springs to mind.
FWIW, I'm adopted, my birth mother (who's since disappeared from trace) was 20 when I was conceived. She gave me up "because she did not feel that she was able to care for me", pretty much the norm for single mums in 1960.
Thing is, nowadays there's no shame attached to this sort of thing; this case is at the extreme end of things but it's also far from rare.

"he tried contraception but didn`t like it"! - Its Wales! - he probably thought that "rubbers" were Wellies! and kept them on! - I wouldn`t like to keep mine on either!

Never mind eh! Just another bunch of wasters I have to pay for.

Some people really are too stupid and impulsive for their own good. But surprisingly often they manage to live with it and come out all right. I'm glad I'm not related to these nippers or their parents. But I hope they don't suffer too much.
