PU,

The link opens iTunes and then comes up as 'item not available in UK store'.

Think we've had trouble with iTunes links before either on here or at the other place, but I can't remember what the solution was.

Looks like you're trying to link to NavFree - in which case just put Navfree into the search box top right in iTunes to get it.

We've discussed this app (and others) before at least twice though... :)

Sorry must have missed that - saw it more useful as a handheld sat nav thing than a car based one really

I think there are two versions of the Navmii software. This one for free using OpenMapSource maps and a paid for one using Teleatlas for £29.99.

I might give Google Navigation another test when I go to Egham next week. With the TomTom 720 running as well mind.

I'm still curious how much data it will use up and since I have used less than 10% of my data allowance and it gets renewed next Tuesday then time to try it out. Might even test data use with satellite maps too.
