Not the Datsun variety…

Trial runs commence tomorrow, weather permitting.
Coniston village is just over an hours drive from me , less early on a Sunday morning. A few weeks ago i was helping run a ‘Challenge Walk’ checkpoint in Coniston Institute, adjacent to the BB museum. Nice & quiet apart from 250 runners and walkers passing through.

It will be very different this coming week & I won’t be going anywhere near..

Weeks walking holiday there in Feb staying a HF Monk Coniston. Bit damp underfoot but amazingly quiet in comparison to the manic summers and stunning pre Spring scenery.
