Well kinda. M25 Northbound between 14 and 15.
Fast lane, at speed 2 x liveried BMW 5 series trafic car leading, BMW X7 - SO6 I guess in black. all with two and blues up, 4 x Lincoln Navigators in black, lit up with Reds and blues with some kind of large panel van fast troop carrier trailing behind.
Pity there was'nt anywhere for me to pull in for, oh at least 3/4 mile. Traffic was very heavy officer...........

We'll pray for you when you get deported to Eswatini..

Must have been the only time in recent memory that I stuck to the speed limit.

Funny you should mention this...
Yesterday when returning from my daughter's house in Otford we drove past the road that leads to Chevening House, road was blocked with several big black cars waiting and police controlling the traffic into the road, I knew that Chevening was regularly used by the government but I've only checked who was there after I read this - turns out out was JD Vance meeting David Lammy.
As a side bar - Chevening House as recently got planning permission to enter into a five year project to move/import 1000's of tonnes of soil to build several massive hills to effectively block the view & sound of the nearby M25 - not gone down too well with the locals as it requires up to 50 HGV movements per day for the five years to achieve this.

>>Chevening House
Someone once told me that Chevening House was an option for Prince Charles and Dianna's home.
They also said that because of the possibility of them living there, the odd M25 / A21 junction is designed as it is - so as to avoid the house.
I have no idea how "accurate" this is.

Apparently he is planning to come up here and holiday in Ayrshire. I guess that means Trump Turnberry.
Talks of 1000 officers needed and all leave cancelled.
Ridiculous.

I'd like to think they'd take care of our VIPs in a similar way.
|
|
Ghislaine Maxwell's getting quite a bit of security cover......
|
Official business is one thing.
A holiday is another.

Pretty sure it's not, really, in security terms. The (mostly) men with bulges under their jackets are never far away from our VIPs, whether at work or play, at home or abroad.
I bet there's some of the Diplomatic Protection squad know a lot more than we ever will about their private lives. Some, e.g. Andrew's officers, are obviously well drilled in secrecy rules!!

In andrews case, clearly not, lots of leaked tales from his protection squad.

Apparently locals in the Cotswolds are a bit annoyed that Vance's security team have taken up all the disabled visitors spots.
Don't they know that not all disabilities are visible! ;-D
On another note, apparently the police have been knocking on the doors of people living within the security zone, asking for names of everyone living their and their social media accounts.
They have been told to "do one" by some residents.

They would get an earthy FO from me. Were it true, but appartently its not.

Seems to start with an unnamed dog walker quoted in the Observer.
