CEO of a medical insurance company has been shot dead in New York.
It looks like an assassination rather than a robbery gone wrong.
I guess looking at declined claims could lead to suspects.

According to t'internet, which is never wrong:
"UnitedHealthcare is the worst insurance company for paying claims with about one-third of claims denied",/i>

Given all the details coming out, it sounds very much like "the day of the jackal". remake currently on Sky.
Which BTW is an excellent bit of tele.

I love the way nothing is blatantly ripped off from the original film, but they make little homages and twists from the original.

It's more that it's 720p and old tech - so you need to be sitting directly opposite, though to be fair it's a Sony Bravia and therefore reasonable quality.
I'm used to watching in 4k TV on an 8k set!
And yes, it's like watching on a postage stamp.

Some more info about the murder...
Three shell casings were found with the words "delay," "deny" and "depose" at the scene of the shooting.
These are apparently phrases used by insurance companies in their guides to delay or refuse payment of claims.
The shot man earned $10m a year in pay / shares.
He has faced allegations of insider trading. He sold $15m of shares just before other investors were told about a Justice Department's antitrust investigation in to the company.
The gun used was apparently used by special forces, but from some time back (WW2) and had a silencer on it.

Looks like there may have been more than one individual in similar clothes to confuse the police. Lots of unsympathetic comments online about health care companies in general.
