 Annoying ads. - Ted

Every time someone on C4P posts a new thread, I can't read about a third of it due to annoying ads which cover the top right hand side of the script. Often they are from Temu or offering business services, I haven't seen one of any relevance to me yet.

Is there any way to stop them and regain my enjoyment of the forum ?

I use Firefox. Had an email from Tubby Tom telling me about Adblock...so I've stuck it on. I'll see what happens.

Thanks.

Like others I'm using Chrome and ad-block.

At one time I turned the blocker off as I felt the site needed the money. However it's now on again after similar experiences with ads that were intrusive or overly distracting.

I'm on Firefox with Duckduckgo:

Allow the ads, but they don't obstruct the text.

I use Adblock plus generally, but allow ads when, like this, they pay for my amusement.
