Hardly surprising lately, but this has been happening for some time.
Has anyone any knowledge or practical experience of anything I can fit to the bottom of the doors to minimise or prevent this happening. I'm thinking of something like a rubber wiper.

I used one of these to stop the wet stuff - my garage is in an unbelievably exposed position high on Bodmin Moor and it appears to have 'done the job'.

Depends what type of door you have.
My last garage had a raised line of concrete just before the door to stop any rain run reaching the door?

The front door is up and over, with the drive having a slight slope away from it.
The back doors swing sideways with a tiny ramp up to them.
The problem is wind blowing the rain under them.

No experience myself but quite a few folks round here have a rubber wiper type seal.

A length of wood fixed to the floor so the door butts up against it when it is closed. That worked for us for over twenty years before we had the door replaced.

I know for sure I’d trip over something like that.
;-)
We have a channel with a grid on top leading to a drain in front of our garage.

As no doubt would a couple of septuagenarians!

Age is but a number eh?
I take the view that you should carry on doing whatever you want until you can’t or until it kills you!
