Tax Refund! - Falkirk Bairn

I was expecting a Tax demand and a letter duly arrived today.

I opened it and to my astonishment they said I was due REBATE of £16.94 dating from the Financial Year 2003 - 2004 - NO not a mistyping of date actually TWENTY PLUS years ago.

It relates to tax allowances for using my car for Business use - I used to get a Monthly Allowance of around £350 and payment for business miles.

I am sure the Tax demand will come in the next month. I do not know the amount but it will be a lot more than £16.94!
